Featured Anime of the Day

Today's featured anime is Kamigami no Asobi. Based off of an otome game this is yet another anime for girls. This anime surrounds Yui Kusanagi and her meetings with the gods.

Yui is a good female protagonist in my opinion. Cute, sweet, and a little dopey. All around she's pretty lovable.

The story goes: Yui discovers a sword in her family storehouse which transports her to another world where she meets the Greek god Zeus. He invites her to join his school and she ends up meeting a bunch of gods from different mythologies (each of them having a god form and a regular form)

All together, although it may not follow mythology exactly, it's still a very entertaining show. (There's a hilarious episode where they put on a play rendition of Cinderella.)

So, this is an anime I would recommend if you're into humor and gods!
