Featured Anime Of The Day~

Today's featured anime is one of my top five favorites~ Hetalia! A series created by Himaruya Hidekaz.  From it's humor to it's educational tidbits it's an anime to enjoy~  This anime encouraged me to learn more about history and geography (though I've always loved it now it's much easier for me to remember)
Over the seasons the art has improved drastically.

Let's start with North Italy (Human name Feliciano Vargas)  I consider him to be the main character since he's pretty much the poster child for the series.

From Season 1: Hetalia Axis Powers  to Season 5: Hetalia the beautiful world (accurately named) Italy has been entertaining us all with his adorable and cheery little self.  And while he might be a bit unmotivated and lazy it doesn't stop this next character from trying to whip him into shape.

Italy's good friend (and the leader of the Axis Powers) Germany. (Human name Ludwig Beilscmidt)

Although stern and scary, Germany is really kind. He always follows the rules and ineffectively attempts to get Italy to train with him.  He's pretty much the picture of manliness (despite his baking skills) and he loves dogs and Italy.

Now for the third member of the Axis Powers, Japan. (Human name Kiku Honda)

Japan has been adorkable from the start. He's often quiet and it's incredibly difficult to anger him or get him to show any emotions actually. He's sweet and enjoys his personal space (and salty food)

Next up is the self proclaimed leader of the Allied Forces: America! (Human name Alfred F. Jones)

Energetic, sweet (though he's also a jerk sometimes), and a bit conceited, America is lovable as heck! Although he can be a bit annoying and he's constantly eating burgers, America is still the number one hero! (or so he says)  He might brag about being the hero a bit too much, but it's not unwarranted; I mean, he is crazy strong. Just ask the next character!

England! (Human name Arthur Kirkland)

England is one of my favorite characters (I love them all but England especially) He's one of the few characters who can rock eyebrows like that~(Though he got better at rocking them in season five)  He's not the most friendly person but once you get to know him he's a nice guy. Unless you're this guy.

France! (Human name Francis Bonnefoy)

Fabulous from the start, France is the lovable big brother type. He's a hopeless romantic and is sometimes considered to be a pervert. But don't misunderstand him! He's the country of love and therefore he loves everyone (especially beautiful people). He's very flamboyant and kind, but leave him around England and you'll see another side of him. Although they fight a lot they could be considered to be very close friends.  The same can not really be said about France and the next character who was on France's list of things he is scared of.

Russia! (Human name, Ivan Braginski)

Russia is a sweetheart, most of the time. He might be considered two faced but he's actually not aware of his scary side! He's childish to the core and has been described as possessing childish cruelty. He's not that way for no reason though.  Among the things he likes are sunflowers, vodka and the next character on this list.

China! (Human name Yao Wang)

China is more of a background character (though considered a main character he doesn't get as much screen time as the others) China's design has probably changed the least, but that's because he needed little improvement! Japan's older brother and the oldest of all the countries. While their ages are around twenty or so China's is a whopping four thousand years old! (Not sure what's up with Himaruya's aging system, but whatever)  And although I said he's a background character, he's not nearly as much one as this next character.

Canada (Human name Matthew Williams)

America's big brother (It's unknown which of the brother's is older, but since Canada is the larger country he's the big brother)   Although Canada is the sweetest little marshmallow cinnamon roll in the world he's practically invisible (at times he is completely invisible!). When he is seen, he's often attacked because he is mistaken for his brother. (Such as when he was attacked by Cuba who thought he was America)   The poor guy can't catch a break because even his polar bear friend Kumajiro can't remember his name and often asks him "Who are you?" though in turn Canada can't remember the bears name.

So, after this extremely long article I will leave you by saying that there are many, many more characters that I could have included and they're all ridiculously lovable. Germany's older brother Prussia, Italy's older brother Romano, and the lovable Spain!  Watching Hetalia is something you likely won't regret~
